KAMIC Group has acquired all shares in the Swedish company CLP System AB. The seller is the company’s founder and Chairman of the Board Tomas Jagerman.
CLP System is a technology-focused trading company that provides services and products to the defence industry as well as within forensic technology. The company also offers high quality batteries and puncture protection for vehicle tires used in demanding environments. CLP System was founded in 1994 and has since then built deep expertise and a solid portfolio of strong agencies within its focus areas. CLP System currently has five employees based in Täby, just north of Stockholm, and annual sales of approximately SEK 40 million.
Through the acquisition, CLP System becomes part of KAMIC Group’s Electronics business area led by Business Area Manager Stefan Bengtsson, who comments: “CLP System is a true niche company with specialist expertise, high-quality products and strong customer and supplier relationships. CLP System will be an interesting and valuable addition to our existing operations in the business area.”
Tomas Jagerman, founder and now seller of CLP System, will continue to work as a consultant in the company. Tomas comments on the deal: “I have lived with CLP System for many years and now it feels good and right to hand over ownership responsibility to KAMIC Group with its strong focus on entrepreneurship, decision-making power close to the customer and long-term perspective. At the same time, I look forward to continuing to contribute to the company’s development in a consulting role.”
