KAMIC Group AB has acquired all the shares in Elproman AB. The sellers are Per Hjelm and Metrofunk Kabel-Union GmbH, a company in the international Nexans Group.
Elproman supplies cables for special applications and connectors to domestic and international industrial customers with high demands on product quality and reliable delivery. They also have a small department for manufacturing custom cable assemblies.
Elproman was founded in 1967 by Per Hjelm’s father, Karl Erik Hjelm. Today the company has some 30 employees. The head office and warehouse are in Segeltorp, just south of Stockholm. Sales in the most recent financial year amounted to just over SEK 90 million.

The previous major owner and Managing Director of Elproman, Per Hjelm, comments on the transaction: “Elproman, with its products and its fantastic employees has been a big part of my life so of course I am sorry to leave as owner and manager. But at the same time I am happy to hand over to KAMIC Group which I know will be a stable and long-term owner and where the company and its employees will be offered a stimulating environment in which they can continue to develop.”
Organisationally Elproman will be an independent company in KAMIC Group’s Electronics business area headed by Stefan Bengtsson.
